The three standard requirements of the Safe Event Scheme offer a flexible approach which enables any event, both large and small, to develop the right solutions.


STANDARD
REQUIREMENT
STAGE 1 PLANNING
The planning standard uses current best practice with expert practical application to help provide appropriate levels of documentation for the size and nature of your event. These include:
Risk Assessments - A review and updates to risk assessmsnets specifically devised for pandemic conditions
Insurance Integration - Ensuring method statements meet event insurer requirements
Responsible Resourcing - Planning to mitigate and reduce reliance on external civil resources (i.e. police, health care systems etc.)
Site Safety - Preparation of event safety plans including site and overlay design
Event Safety - Production of emergency and crisis plans according to the event size
Safe Movement Plans - For teams, officials, staff and the public, to ensure social distancing
Fire Assessment - Reviews to ensure pandemic planning does not compromise other statutory obligations
Event Communications - Communication plans review and production

STANDARD
REQUIREMENT
STAGE 2 PROVISION
The Safe Event Scheme event managers, operators and venues need to identify the right products and services needed to underpin their Stage 1 Planning. For example:
Structures - Rapid deployment of modular temporary building solutions
Crowd Management - Queue management, way-finding, pedestrian barriers and stewarding
Venue Hygiene - Portable hand sanitiser solutions, health monitoring and surveillance solutions
Commerce - The latest hands-free technology for safe event food & beverage and merchandise retail operations
PPE - Provision of face masks and other disposable PPE items

STAGE 3 PERFORMANCE
The Safe Event Scheme requires the right experience and know-how to help ensure event operations are delivered according to the Stage 1 Planning:
Event Management - Operational oversight of your scheme planning and provision
Critical Function Support - Ensuring civil resources are not placed under pressure
Crowd Management - Stewarding, safety and security attendance
PR Liaison - Ensuring the right health and safety messages are communicated.
